Mr. Maharaj graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours. He subsequently pursued his legal training and is a Licensed Paralegal, Commissioner of Oaths, and Notary Public in the Province of Ontario. Driven by a strong commitment to public service, Mr. Maharaj is dedicated to assisting individuals who find themselves on the opposing side of the law—often because of misunderstanding or lack of awareness of their legal rights. He recognizes that such situations can create significant financial, personal, and family hardship, and he is committed to providing clients with clear guidance, practical solutions, and an empathetic approach to achieving just outcomes.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Maharaj was licensed by the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC), providing him with valuable insight into the legal and regulatory framework of the automotive industry. He has developed strong relationships within the trades sector, working closely with both businesses and consumers. This diverse professional background allows Mr. Maharaj to advocate effectively on behalf of his clients, as he brings a practical understanding of the real-world challenges and legal issues faced by the public.
